Giorgos Stefanou – Travelling in Space-Time

Travelling in Space-Time leaves the acoustic impression of a silent drama sci-fi movie, with the basic theme vocabulary highlighting different angles of Giorgos Stefanou’s vision. Spectromorphological mutations will keep the basic idea by and large, whilst allowing signatures and traits to be altered, with form following function and complementing masses and proportions. Absent any happy ending, the outcome is left undefined and the abrupt final stresses the unreal character of this vision. Travelling in Space-Time is a demanding but also rewarding work to listen to and certainly one of Giorgos Stefanou’s finest works so far.
