andreas usenbenz (through his second project besides sonovo) delivers the proof that it’s possible and necessary to rediscover slowness. he takes his time and thus gives us the time to explore his soundscapes. while doing so you will realize that nobile does not merely pile up drones and clusters. rather there are structures and textures woven into the soundworks made mainly from string sounds. resulting not in boredom but in comfort.
this is the soundtrack for grey november afternoons, and nobile takes care of the acoustic equivalents of candle light and tea.
